BAZARUTO BOYS
Bazaruto Boys is a series that documents the particular relationship of Bazaruto's inhabitants with the surrounding water. While most of the population lives off fishing from the sea, rising sea levels are threatening to shrink the island's land area, further threatened by the catastrophic threat of cyclones in this area. Climate change is already a huge concern in the region.

TEMPUS FUGIS
As part of the Tempus Fugit exhibition, which features 8 Moroccan photographers bringing together work created during both the confinement and deconfinement. Yzza worked on a shared project: for each one to document this particular time and space in their own eyes. Yzza exhibited work from her encounter with various heath worker during the lockdown, exploring their mental health in such difficult time using portraiture while in lockdown.

GIVE ME SHELTER
Today, more and more women feel empowered enough to leave forced marriages. This photo series “Give me Shelter” pays tribute to the strong and brave Pakistani women risking everything for their rights. They are survivors, and their strength and courage deserves to be represented. There were more than 600 cases of forced marriage reported last year in Pakistan, and it is thought that many more cases go unrecorded according to the FMU. The atrocity women and young girls have faced are unimaginable, some of them had to go through terrible abuses such as rape, slavery, imprisonment, and trafficking. Yet, not all Pakistani women have the educational or economic means to leave a forced marriage. This is where shelter homes are vital. Many women have already benefitted from Panah’s program, which provides a safe shelter for women in distress offering them educational and vocational classes to help them become independent. *This series has been photographed in a way to protect the identities of those at risk. Names have also been changed.
